KOSHER AT NYC AIRPORTS
A CURATED GUIDE
JFK

JFK AIRPORT
JFK has the broadest kosher availability of the three airports. The airport's own dining directory actually has a Kosher filter and currently returns numerous locations carrying kosher products.
TERMINAL 4: Look for Yummy Sandwich products carrying the STAR-K symbol. Current Chabad airport guidance lists locations around Gates A, B20, B23, B37 and B53, plus the main Five Boroughs Hall.
TERMINAL 5: CIBO Express locations carry Fresko kosher sandwiches and meals with the green Fresko label and STAR-K symbol. JFK's own directory also specifically identifies Bryant Park Market near Gate 521 as carrying kosher grab-and-go options.
TERMINAL 8: Look for Fresko/STAR-K kosher food at CIBO Express.
KOSHER NOTE: Don't assume everything sold by CIBO, Jetbox or another retailer is kosher. Look for the individual sealed item bearing the kosher certification.
JEWISH TRAVEL NOTE: JFK also has Chabad of the Airport, which assists Jewish travelers and maintains airport kosher information.
GOOD TO KNOW: Some airline lounges can arrange kosher meals in advance, so someone flying internationally should also check directly with their airline/lounge before traveling.
LAGUARDIA AIRPORT
LaGuardia has kosher food too, although it is primarily grab-and-go rather than a dedicated kosher restaurant.
TERMINAL B: Look for kosher prepared food including a kosher section at 5 Boroughs Food Emporium. Current listings describe a kosher corner carrying sandwiches and salads.
TERMINAL C: Multiple CIBO Express locations are listed as carrying Fresko sandwiches/meals with the green Fresko label and STAR-K symbol, including locations around Gates C15, C24, C28–29 and C31 and the CIBO Express Food Hall.
KOSHER NOTE: Again, CIBO itself isn't the certification. Look for the Fresko green label and STAR-K symbol on the packaged food.
There is evidence that the Chase Sapphire Lounge in Terminal B offers hot kosher meals on request to eligible lounge guests, reportedly supplied by Fresko under STAR-K supervision.
NEWARK LIBERTY INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
Newark may actually have our most interesting airport discovery.
THE KOSHER MARKET
Terminal C3, near Gate C139
Yes — Newark has an airport market specifically identified by Chabad's airport guide as “The Kosher Market,” a kosher-only market run by CIBO.
That deserves its own JewishFoodNYC callout.
LOOK FOR: Fresko packaged kosher sandwiches and meals carrying the green Fresko label and STAR-K symbol.
Elsewhere in Terminal C, kosher Fresko products are listed at multiple CIBO Express locations as well as Abruzzo Market and Vanguard Market.
TERMINAL A: Current guidance also lists Market Fresh locations in the A concourses as carrying kosher sandwiches/meals.
TERMINAL B: Green Beans Coffee in arrivals is among the locations currently identified as carrying kosher food.
There is also a Fresko Fresh Kosher presence associated with Newark Airport.
Playa Bowls in Newark's Terminal A is currently reported as kosher-certified under National Kosher Supervision/Rabbi Aaron Mehlman.
